Interconnectedness Of Humanity
Some people might ask, how could a musician connect with a programmer if they both studied different fields in school and might really not necessarily understood each other when it came to their mastery of skills and academic knowledge?
One might ask how could a person of a different background and origin connect with someone who was raised from a different culture?
Another person might ask how could we connect with others who believed different perspectives from our own beliefs?
In summary, one might wonder how could each person in the world connect with one another if we all held different knowledge, experiences, and beliefs.
The truth is as an individual or as a single person, it is just not possible to connect and be compatible with all people in the world because all of us have unique traits, personalities and perspectives in life.
But as groups of people, I believe all of us can connect with one another.
Let us take my first example about the musician and programmer.
Can they really connect with one another?
My answer is yes, they can connect with one another, along with doctors, artists, engineers, and all other types of people working in different fields.
Musicians can brighten the day of programmers if programmers listen to the music that musicians produce.
Some programmers also are musicians in their spare time producing good quality music, singing or playing different musical instruments.
On the other hand, musicians can benefit from the software related to music that programmers develop like the software ProTools, Logic Pro, etc.
When a programmer gets sick, where does he or she goes to? -a doctor.
When a musician presents to his or her audience, where does he or she hold his or her presentation? -a theater or an auditorium built by architects and engineers.
I am positive most people have different works of art that are developed by artists in their houses.
When we watch movies, we see the intensive work of people in different fields and levels - directors, actors, writers, producers, graphic artists and assistants.
When we see our smartphones, we see the work of hundreds or even thousands of people in different fields.
Because of the examples I have mentioned, we can clearly see how people working in different fields can connect with one another.
Now let us take my second example about culture.
I cannot promise each person can connect to any person with a different culture and upbringing.
It is just not realistic and possible.
But I can promise each person can appreciate and connect to at least one aspect of any culture that a group of people may have.
Some people may think some cultures do bad things.
Just to clarify, I do not agree and not promote the bad things some people do because of their cultures.
But isn't the fact that all these people practice what they believe in despite the negative consequences of their actions show their dedication and devotion to their culture?
And lastly, how can we connect with someone with a different perspectives than us?
I believe there is only one version of truth in any aspect of our lives on an individual basis.
When it comes to the truth on a collective basis, we either are or are not able to generalize the truth.
We can generalize the truth on a collective basis through factual information that are already proven to be true.
We cannot generalize the truth on a collective basis if the "truth" or given information is subjective or is acquired based on opinions and emotions.
At the end of the day, the person himself or herself should have the power over his or her own self and knows the truth about him or her more than how other people view him or her.
How many genders do we have? The truth is we only have two (2) genders - male and female.
Is there a God or no? The reality is there IS a God.
I just think that if people hold different beliefs on a topic that is proven to be a truth that will not change, those other beliefs are insignificant, a diversion and a waste of time compared to greater topics that we need to give attention to.
I am not saying that a lot of beliefs are not necessary.
They are all necessary.
In fact all factual information we know today have to start from unproven beliefs.
What I am saying is at some point in time in the near future, we should all agree with one another and stop going in circles and arguing about topics we already know the answers to.
We should not dwell, make our life's goal to prove the truthfulness and make our life revolve around information that are subjective because subjective information can have many meanings because they can be interpreted differently by different people.
If we have no way of finding out the truthfulness of the subjective information, we will just go back and forth on that topic, trying to get to the end of an infinite road, hurting ourselves and other people along the way.
There are still many questions and information that we need to discuss and address in our society.
One of them is how can we let humanity unite for many good causes?
Plus, what are the different steps and processes do we need to develop in order to accomplish this seemingly unrealistic goal?
