Unleash Your Power

After watching movies like Spider-Man or Superman when I was younger, I dreamed I was one of these superheroes and kept imitating their powerful moves.

I threw a pillow like it was the tallest building or hung onto a bar like I had magical grips.

Combine it with the whooshing sound that came out of my unstoppable lips and the chills I got from my energy and excitement, it seemed like I was the hero from the movies.

Those scenes were from the happy, old days.

Now I think back and ask myself, don't we wish we have super magical powers like Superman, Spider-Man or the X-Men?

Don't we wish we have the power of telekinesis so we can move things with our minds so we do not have to work physically day and night?

I am sure everybody will agree to that.

But the reality is we don't have these cool powers like the power of controlling the weather like Storm has, not even the power of teleportation like Nightcrawler has, and not even the slightest cool power of producing sparks like Jubilee has.

Although it seems like we are very unfortunate for not having these "cool" powers, we do not need to envy these made up superheroes because we have innate powers within us.

We may not realize this at first, but we will see them in our everyday lives if we only take a moment to look closer and deeper than our outer appearance.

We humans have better and more realistic powers than these comic superheroes.

God gives all of us these wonderful gifts and capabilities for us to be happy and successful and for us to share our success with other people so we can help and affect others in a good way.

One may ask, what human powers am I talking about?

The power of our muscular strength that can save other people from falling down.

The power of our communications that allow us to transfer huge amounts of information from one person to another and transform our immaterial thoughts to something other human beings can understand.

The power of our creativity that allows us to think big and to turn our dreams into realities.

The power of our talents that can serve as inspiration for some people.

The power of our minds and intelligence that let us reach the unreachable outer space and place different planets in the universe within our reach.

The power of our decisions that can alter our futures and destinies in life.

We also have hearts that have the power to love, be loved and spread love.

Because we have the power of love, we also have the power to make a difference to the world we all live.

Because of the power of love, we have the power to affect and influence other people in a good and positive way.

Because of the power of true love, all of us will be able to live better lives and experience true God-given freedom and joy in our everyday lives.
